I responded to an ad in the music section of Craigslist,
Former Flipsides members were looking for a bassist,
They’re a Fat band so I said “Let’s do this!”
Their project’s name was Sabrina Stewart

She said to learn a song or two but I learned them all,
She said I was in the band the next time I called
We were set to record a 5 song E.P.
She just had to pick a studio and get back to me

That’s when she met him
Checking out Jingletown
Green Day was there
Recording an album

Mike Dirnt took my gig x3

I’d been practicing her songs for the record,
I was out and I was kind of butthurt
What I’d done wrong I wasn’t really sure
She said “come on dude it’s Mike fucking Dirnt”

He said he’d be happy
To help and fill in
She said she was happy
Then he took my gig
